Been slacking the last month or so and only done 3 hardmode's in ICC 25 and about half in Icc10 You have nice gear but im worried you will "slack" again? Also the application is a bit "slack" too tbh. Youve not given us a lot of info to go on. Is there a reason for this? Gl anyways.

| By slacking I was meaning that I haven't done any progression raiding recently. Granted the application may seem lacking in detail but i can only give you my assurance that their is no hidden reason for this.
The reason for the blank parts is i felt the information was covered in the section above or below

| Gear: Please, DO BOTHER, and log off in your MS gear if you have an application going on, or at least leave a link to wowhead profiler if you're changing gear like your socks. Linking OS gear also helps. And 11k Single target DPS is kinda nearly BIS gear.
Talents: Divine Guardian (Raid damage absorbtion) > Divinity (more overheals) anyday.
Professions: Alchemy gives nothing useful to tanks. Any of the following is better than Alchemy EH wise: JC/BS/LW/ENG
Interface: Still having Auto Attack button on bars = FAIL. I don't see 264 Badge Trinket bound to your keys, nor macroed?
Question: Do you really click DP, AW with the buttons you've binded?

mixology = +650HP extra from flask of stoneblood (so you get +1950hp instead of +1300hp)

Question: Do you really click DP, AW with the buttons you've binded? Divine guardian is perhaps better but has very limited uses and is 50g +5mins to change if the encounter requires it. JC & BS may be slightly better but the differance is minimal and the option of using the alchemy bonus on encounters were pure stam isnt required make up for it. Auto attack and trinket ? kinda lost here but all normal ablities start auto attack as follows #showtooltip judgement of wisdom /startattack /cast judgement of wisdom /script UIErrorsFrame:Clear() Badge trinket is bound to a second trinket most of the time as the on use effect is limited, I don't use your standard wasd keys witch my explain the confusion. 11k dps in Icc is no way neer BiS considering the 20% buff. Armory should be updated now, was probably in some gear for running instances.

| Button 1 = Auto attack, it's not a macro, and it has your weapon icon. Meaning it's auto attack.
I can't see anywhere with your bindings your trinkets, unless its in macro "tnk" (which has a double meaning - tank/trinket), so maybe thats why overlooked.
Stamina will be always better than Health. Health is passive, Stamina scales with levels, talents and buffs.
Divine Guardian: Marrowgar -> Bonestorm Lady Deathwhisper -> Overrun by adds. Lootship -> ? Saurfang -> when he enrages and other tank tanks. Festergut -> Exhales. Rotface -> Overrun by adds. PP -> P3 at last marks. Blood Princess -> shock vortexes, flames and stuff. Bloodqueen -> Fear phases. Valithria -> Overrun by adds. Sindragosa -> Phase three. Lich king -> Phase transitions, Vile Spirits.
Dont talk bullshit about being not useful. While Divinity is clear shitty talent, because it only generates overheals.
And since you dont use "our" standard WASD keys, thats why we have the question about keybindings, which you obviously failed to answer.
I STILL want to see your Retribution gear. Any wowhead/anyother profile for it?
Prot gear: Agility enchant on cloak? Why not Armor? Chest +10 stats? Why not Health? Defense gem in the neck? What the ... ?
154 Hit... 20 Exp. So you gem threat because you failed at gearing for it? I won't even start on Mongoose on weapon while you have that ammount of Hit. And you're using Last Word as tanking weapon ...
Aggro should be generated by skill, not by gear. Gear = survival/EH to help your healers.

| You could at least be constructive. But I guess this app is going nowere
"So you gem threat because you failed at gearing for it" then you say "Aggro should be generated by skill, not by gear. Gear = survival/EH to help your healers" followed by sugesting I take 25hit/25crit instead of mongoose.
If you don't understand the different mechanics paladin have Vs other classes then their are places that can explain the stat scaling better than me wasting my time. anyone can find holes in a application if they wish. Maybe i have more than one tank weapon and more than one neck but guess your more interested in proving something else.
As for Divinity I wasn't trying to defend it so why go to the effort of making your point ? The reason for agument about it only generates overheals isn't Vs Divine Gurdiaan its about defending threat talents in the ret tree.

| I'm constructive But your application is LACKING stuff. I do perfectly understand the Paladin mechanics, as I do follow Maintankadin + Elitist Jerks. If you did that you would know how to gem, how to gear, how to spec, how to enchant, about stat weights, Effective Health and so on. If it was a DPS application - sure, minor thingies can be skipped. But this is a tank application. A TANK. Core of the raid, because if a tank fails - raid fails. Every minor nitpick matters. Divine Guardian has nothing to do with Threat talents in Ret Spec? I told specifically that Getting Divine Guardian over Divinity is much better. And you still haven't linked your DPS gear. Instead of defending yourself, you could show effort. So MAYBE you have other gear pieces, but you don't specify it - so I just asume you don't. Simple thing. | |
